I have done these pics in order, thanks to Gibbles for taking them.
My husband has found that he is the brunt of many of my practical jokes in our home. I just can't help myself, I constantly have the urge to bug him. Most of the time the response I get, is "awww man" or "come on Grease" or "Man oh man" in very monotone and slow speech. He is very stoic, and to me, it just makes the whole process even more enjoyable. The more I bug, and no matter if he protests, the more I just want to tease him.
It seems this trait, has been passed down to my daughter, whom I will dub as Tibbles for the sake of the blog.
I long for April Fool's day, be it to stick a chocolate bar down my husband's pants while he is sleeping, or to give him a wedgie.
Now Tibbles, has decided that she will share the torch. For the past week, secretly, up in her room, she crafted "rotten egg accessories". They were additions to be put on a real egg.
I know that she used paint and other mediums. My daughter is addicted to crafting. There was a lot of motion and smoke coming from her room, this past week.
I find bits of paper mache in the kid's washroom and I find her exhausted at eleven o'clock at night, red eyed at her desk drawing. This kid is keen on crafting. She lives to create. Both of my daughters are amazing at art.
But the fake rotten egg concoction was the best April Fool's Day yet.
