More Maitland River Pics

Wow, these pictures are riveting. . . They are taken prior to one canoe capsizing. It was one of the canoes behind us with three little kids in the middle. All the little kidlets were intact and unharmed, although it must have been quite a shock. All we heard were screams, and it reminded me of a Richard Scarys book scenario. I lost my prescription sunglasses at one point, looking into the water, but they were found. I think I am going to have to get an Idiot String, so they don't do that. Note to self, get new sunblock. It is a curse having McSkin. I slathered on 15 SPF, then 30 SPF and I still feel like I have been sandblasted. Adam is pinkish too, kidlets seem okay. I bet all the big boys will be feeling the pain tomorrow, it was warm so they shed their shirts later during the trip. There is nothing worse than sunburned nips.
