I remember my Nana saying that quote.
The excitement here never ends. . .
If I crate the dogs, they are howling, if I let them out, Tully is trying to mount Wookie. He looks like a little man in a tuxedo doing the Pogo dance on Wookie's back. Wookie is not "denying".
Wookie has unfortunately gone into an early heat. We had planned in May to get her spayed, now all hell has broken loose. Tully (the Boston), was used as a stud prior to us acquiring and neutering him, and he is driving Wookie crazy.
Not only is he a vocal dog, but he is walking around a devilish grin. It's not easy to keep them calm right now. I can't get anything accomplished.
I wish I had gone with my gut, and spayed Wookie at the 6 month mark. Instead, I took the advice of others and waited and now the guilt is setting in.
I just hope the farm with the sled dogs isn't downwind from my house. I can just picture Wookie getting knocked up.
There's some orb activity in a few of those pictures.
