Boring Myself Stiff

Something strange is happening in Blyth today. I was driving home with toothless Gibbles and I noticed all these women with back packs walking down the road. The first automatic thought was "oh shit the Mormon's are back". Around here it is either The Jehovah's Witnesses, The Mormons or Energy Marketers and they are aggressive. I don't answer my door if I cannot connect the head shape with a known personality. I have had people just walk right in to my house if I don't have the door locked. I have wondered if it is a "small town" thing, not to lock your door. People think I am odd because I batten down the hatches. As far as I am concerned, that's why you have a lock. I wanted to enjoy my day eradicating dandelions from my yard with my Speedy Weedy. Not that I will get them all. Personally, I feel that dandelions are great. You can eat them, and I probably have enough of them to make some wine. I have more dandelions than grass. But, the neighbourhood likes to "take pride" in their gardens, and they just don't like to see happy yellow faces all over the lawns. Later. . . That Speedy Weedy really works. Yet it won't get this horrible weed that I have popping up in obscure places. I have used pickling vinegar on them, and it still thrives. The leaves are big, and if you try to pull them out with your hand, it feels like your palms have been sneezed on. Then the weed grows a tall seed head throughout the summer and they spread like wildfire. The roots are so thick and yellow. So I raked a bit, re-seeded, and then came in to watch "Wild Kingdom" happening in my house. Now, Tully is discovering different positions. I am going to go insane with all the "intant action, deep (actually non) satisfaction" (My Life With Thrill Kill Cult quote) in this place. Tully is now reporting "I wanna" instead of his regular "Mama". The dog speaks. I just listed my suede and toscana jacket for sale :(
