Puppy Power

This is the rush of puppies when I let them in the house from outside. They bulldoze their way through the door, and usually end up in the kitchen. Then it is a scramble to try and retrieve them to put them back in their indoor kennel. I had been concerned about the interaction between Wookie and her pups. She seemed rough. I called the vets a while ago, and they said, unless you notice scratches, don't worry about it. So, I do let them frolic outside a few times a day without Wookie, then a few times a day with Wookie. When Wookie is out with them, she tries to play with them and grabs their legs, pins them down and most of them end up huddling in a corner. They do not appreciate the discipline, but they do need it, otherwise, they will not become socialized correctly. I have to remember, she knows what she is doing.
