Rachel Ridout

We wake up, complain about a huge zit, or some other tiny affliction, with the woe is me attitude and really, in the whole scheme of things it really does not matter. We are so involved with ourselves that we amplify the most minute and superficial "things", because we are self absorbed.

We get irritated at the person ahead of us in the "drive thru" of Timmy's because they decided to order a few sandwiches, and it takes longer than expected.

So many of these "little" things build up, and then you take a look at this: http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/rachelridout

In a split second your life has changed, your family's life has changed. All that matters are the seconds, forget the minutes or the hours of being together, all that matters is the here and now.
