As a child I had a speech impediment, and could not pronounce my L's or R's. My maiden name was Reitzel. It would come out as Weesa Weighzew. Thank god my mom didn't name me her first pick. . . Lilith. I had a hard time saying leotards.
Thank god for orthodontics and many hours of learning to put my tounge to the upper palate when prounouncing L's.
